Pinch Me and I Will Punch You

Good evening, folks!

Hope you’re having a fabulous Monday. I started mine off with one of these.

And then proceeded to tape the green straw on my sweater once I got to work because I froke out and realized I didn’t have any green on me. Oops. #PinchMeAndIWillPunchYou

The day whizzed by and I left work immediately after the kids were dismissed. Note to self: Do this more often. When you drive off in your car and your kids shout out “MISS B!” as you leave the parking lot, you feel like a princess as you practice your hand waves and air kisses. Never have I ever felt so cool in my life.

I’m on Week 2 of Half Marathon training! Today was just stretching & strengthening so I went to my apartment gym and did a little bit of cardio and stretching. I’m back at it. I love it.

After I got back, I watched an episode of The Voice while I cooked up a batch of steel cut oats. I bought the oats a month ago when I saw the sign for cheap avocados on my way to Carmel. My sister-in-law taught me how to cook them up real nice by roasting them a bit first. I’m already a little excited for breakfast tomorrow – not gonna lie.

I also realized I left my computer charger at work, so I’m about to sign off. I think I may start leaving it there overnight. It forces me to disconnect – whether I want to or not. It also forces me to be way more efficient with the time that I do spend on my computer. Which is a rare thing on most days. Because…Facebook. Twitter. All the things.

With that, I’m off.
