May 2018: The Month of Transition

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “currently” type post. But that’s because there’s been a LOT. All at once.

  • We are coming up on our final few weeks in Harrogate and will be moving to Oak Ridge in 5 weeks! We found an apartment complex – right outside of Knoxville – with a lake view.
  • Ankur will be taking his board exams in a month.
  • We just celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary.
  • I got a job in Knoxville teaching again and I can’t stop squealing out of excitement. Let me also mention that there’s a Starbucks drive-thru RIGHT NEXT to the school. Hallelujah.
  • I’m starting an EdS program in school psychology so, in addition to being a teacher again, I will also be a student again!

After two years of not knowing how to spend this excessive amount of free time I had, I am now re-entering a world where my every minute will be consumed with work, school, or activities.

And I’m ready.

My body has rested. It’s had two years of soul searching, desk sitting, and rest and relaxation. It’s ready to get back to the hustle and bustle of classroom life.

I’m also excited that the TEACH in Eat Teach Blog is now relevant again.

Hope you’re all having a beautiful week.

I certainly am.

And I’m ever so grateful.

Question of the Day:

  • What’s been going on in your world lately?

Things in my world have been overwhelming. I’m definitely in that soul-searching full-transition phase but I’m remaining optimistic that positive things are coming my way and things will all fall into place soon.
