Marathon Monday – Most Definitely
I most definitely just got home from a 13-hour work day.
I most definitely ate a full chicken burrito from Mi Pueblo for dinner.
I most definitely ate leftover Yogurtland for breakfast (dairy and fruit. Balanced meal. Sod off).
(I most definitely wanted a fun reason to say ‘Sod off.’)
I most definitely would have used all those excuses to crawl into bed and call it a night.
Instead, half marathon training begins today.
So I most definitely will be making my way over to the gym right now.
Have a fabulous night.
I mos’ def will.

What’s your favorite song by Mos Def?

What training plan would you recommend for a first time halfer?

Terry and I used Hal Higdon’s novice plan, and it was great! Easy to follow, flexible, and no time pressure. Can’t wait to hear how it all goes!
That’s what everyone seems to recommend!! 🙂 Hope you are well, soon-to-be-Mama! 🙂
Good luck! 🙂
I actually started a coaching group for some first time HM runners because I feel like everyone tries to follow the set plans and ends up either injured, frustrated or still full of questions! That being said galloway is great and I swear the Run Like A Mother ladies did a great job with their plans.
Do you still do coaching or is it done now?!
Good luck!! I recommend Hal Higdon’s novice 2 plan 🙂
I started half training the same day as you. I’m using Jack Daniels theories and program!
I’ve tried a couple different plans. Right now I’m on Runners World and like it quite a bit
That’s the one that I was considering! But I keep going back and forth between that and Higdon.
LOL! I love that the spoon is in the frozen yogurt cup – ARMED AND READY!!
