We made it! State testing is done. The work week is almost done. HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS! After I hit ‘Publish’ on this post, I’m going to put the computer away and curl up with Wash, our book club book, for the rest of the night. I’m about halfway through it and I’m still not convinced that I love it yet. I don’t really like the author’s style and the story line is not super engaging. Let’s hope that changes tonight. Molokai set a RIDICULOUSLY high bar for our future books…
Now…on to your regularly scheduled posting:
1) Last week when I was in Monterey, I bought myself this lovely Tervis tumbler. I already have about 873 tumblers, but what’s one more?
It’s not wasting money if I’m drinking a ton of water AND sporting the Bruins, right?
2) I just finished Day 5 of my 30-day challenge to eat clean. I’ve been doing well for the most part. Today, I went to snack on some of that chia pudding I made earlier, but I was craving something sweet and it wasn’t really doing the job.
I tried to go in the staff room and add a squeeze of honey, but one of my co-workers made me put down the bottle and walk away slowly. (I may have thrown a slight tantrum. But, now I know my co-workers are going to hold me accountable. Well….if I didn’t scare them off by having a mini meltdown).
3) The laundry basket that was in my car three days ago is still there. I only have two hands. And, every day when I get home, my lunchbox and all my teacher bags take priority. The laundry basket has to wait for a second trip to my car. But, I haven’t been on any second trips since I’m trying to 1) avoid going out to eat or drink and 2) trying to be in bed by 9:30PM. So the laundry basket must wait.
4) I’m now 21 episodes behind on The Voice. I have a hunch that I’m not going to catch up…
Why yes, that’s another tumbler.
5) Sister and I are going to TURKEY this summer!! We leave a few days after my birthday and come back the first week of July. I can’t WAIT to go on a SISTER TRIP! 🙂
6) Sister’s at a Turkish dinner tonight – to prep for our fun trip this summer. I’m on my couch for dinner tonight. With my tray of roasted zucchini and garlic. Don’t judge me.
7) The Otterbox case for my iPhone is SO big and the auxiliary cord doesn’t fit into the headphone jack because the case gets in the way. Which means I’ve been listening to the radio while I’m in the car. My current favorite song that’s ridiculously overplayed but I’m not over it yet is Ariana Grande ft. Izzy Azalea – Problem
8) It’s not too late to enter the giveaway for my two-year Blogiversary! 🙂 Enter to win a $50 gift card to Whole Foods! Giveaway ends on Sunday.

One can never have enough tumblers, I have around fifty lying around the house. I sometimes find ones that I thought I have lost in the strangest places. Old bags, in the trunk of my car, in the garden shed, and the list goes on.
