Adora Calcium Review and Giveaway

Good morning friends,

Thank you all for your sweet comments and messages from yesterday’s post. It’s so nice to be able to talk about things openly with people who understand and can relate. People will tell you that your health is a priority. They will tell you to take care of yourself and not be so preoccupied with work. But I guess I’m one of those annoying people that go on ignoring everyone until something scary happens. Lesson learned. 6 months into working, I’m finally realizing how important it is to love myself first.

Today, I have something pretty delicious coming your way.

Ever since the results from my blood test came back, I’ve been trying to find the supplements that I need that I’m not getting through food.

Vitamin D

I was worried that calcium was going to be a problem. I hate milk. Hate it. I just think it’s nasty. I’ve tried to cut back on dairy in general lately. So there was a tiny part of me that thought I would have some sort of calcium deficit goin’ on.

Turns out I didn’t. Because for the last few weeks, I’ve been taking a calcium supplement. I used to take those chewable supplements – which were alright. But there is now a calcium supplement on the market that is available in creamy milk chocolate and rich dark chocolate flavors. Oh, and they taste exactly like a chocolate bar.

Adora Calcium Supplements not only provides my body with the calcium I need (that I refuse to get from milk), but also Vitamin D3 and magnesium for optimal absorption. They also help curve your chocolate cravings – which happen quite often after meals! Depending on your age you’ll need between 1-3 discs per day. Ummmm…I’m ABSOLUTELY okay with that.

Each chocolate disc is only 30 calories and it helps to know it’s doing your body some good. And these things are delicious. I’m not exaggerating when I say they taste just like a Hershey’s kiss. They even have to include a warning for people to make sure to stick to the recommended intake. Because I would just keep poppin’ them in otherwise.

  1. I just thought to myself 4 days ago that I should start taking calcium chews, then talked myself out of it! Would like to win. Plus, I am one of those sweet-aholics that feels the need to eat something sweet after meals. 2-for-1 solution!

  2. I have been enjoying these supplements for a long time! I introduced them to a few friends and now they enjoy them as well. Dark chocolate is my favorite.

  3. Oh man, I’d love to get my hands on the dark chocolate version. My Whole Foods is an hour away but they’re on the list for next time I’m here, because my calcium pills from GNC are huge friggin’ horse pills that make me not enjoy taking them.
