Remember when I first came up north to look for apartments? And I decided to explore the area for a week? But I was too afraid to take this trail because I was by myself and thought I’d be gobbled up by a mountain lion? Well, when Sister came to visit me, we ended up taking the trail. These pictures are weeks old, but I’m terrible at keeping up with my own life. Better late than never, right?
It was a pretty incredible hike. The views were really nice, but more importantly, we got to hike alongside a couple deer and some peacocks.
Picchetti Winery
Last Thursday, our staff had a happy hour at Picchetti Winery which is right on the preserve – next to all the hiking trails. My first thought when I walked in – “I’m having happy hour at a winery. SO DIFFERENT than my happy hours in L.A.” =)
They had beautiful lights in the tasting room, picnic tables outside on the grass, and peacocks and chickens roamin’ the area.
It was definitely a place that I would revisit – they have live music on the weekends! 🙂
