Weekend Snapshots: 12/12/16

Good morning! We are in the final stretch until Winter Break! Ankur’s last exam is this morning so he will be a free man at around noon today. I, on the other hand, have to work until Friday. But the countdown is ON. And I’m excited Ankur will have a little free time to explore the surrounding areas since he’s been going non-stop since we first moved here at the end of June.

This weekend was, overall, uneventful. This is partially because I refused to leave the apartment. I was afraid my face was going to fall off. Or that I’d cry out of fear and my tears would turn into icicles.

We had a “Cookie Decorating Party” on Friday night after work. Kasey made all the sugar cookies and frosting. Nicole made the enchiladas. Peggy made it beautiful and bright. And I? I made a mess.

I beheaded a bear on accident. Which ended up being okay because then I got to eat it. I also found sprinkles in my hair later that night. #Adulting

But, aside from Friday night, I spent most of my weekend podcasting and catching up on e-mails and blog-related things. Speaking of which, I have a new “About Me” page. If you get a chance, I’d love for you to check it out and let me know your thoughts. I welcome constructive feedback!

Have a good one!

Questions of the Day:

  • What did you do this weekend?
  • Do you like your cookies frosted or unfrosted?

  • What’s one thing you’re looking forward to this week?
