Weekend Highlights [11/25]

Hello, friends! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I just finished up a wine and pizza night with some lovely ladies! 🙂

Watch out, Cupcake Red Velvet. This may be my new favorite wine.

It was so easy to go back to work this morning just knowing that my work week is only two days long! Some schools in the area have the whole week off, but I really can’t complain! I’m happy I get time off at all. 🙂

This weekend, I made my way down to Carmel (yet again) on Saturday afternoon after I got my tires changed. Clearly, I’m there WAY too much. I took over the Starbucks on FourSquare. And now I’m taking over the Subway.

And the entire city.

We cleaned up the house, went grocery shopping, and prepped a bit for the family! So excited to have them all up here for Thanksgiving.

I snapped a picture of the most important part of the dinner. Clearly it was important enough to set up 6 days early.

I also missed food prep this weekend, but that’s OK because my week is only 2 days long.

My super surgeon brother was able to slice open the spaghetti squash using his surgeon skills (tongue twister).

And thanks to his skills and my Bhabhi’s cooking, I had some yum leftovers for lunch today! 🙂

Now I’m about to curl up on the couch, finish The Voice, and go to sleep! I’m going to attempt to wake up at 4:30 for a morning workout! Good night! 🙂

  1. OMG you already got all of your Thanksgiving stuff!!! Those groceries look like the groceries I got yesterday just for a normal day! LOL!!!!

I am so pumped for Thursday though. My Thanksgiving stomach is OPEN AND READY TO EAT!

  2. I have given up on cutting squash. Sure, I haven’t failed yet (I even was forced to cut some acorn and butternut squashes last year with a butter knife because that’s all I had in my dorm room. Haha.)… but I’ve taken the lazy approach now and just cook those suckers whole 😉

Since it is now after Thanksgiving I should be able to remember what the most unique dish on the table was… But I can’t 🙁
