Veggetti Review and Giveaway

This afternoon after work, my best friend, Jen, and I had plans to get our nails done. And, just like most days after work, nothing went according to plan. Instead, we ended up at a Vietnamese restaurant because she has been feeling ill (those darn teacher germs!) and was craving pho. And I tagged along because food is always the more optimal choice.

Since it’s been nearly 90 degrees out each day, the last thing I wanted was a bowl of piping hot soup. So, I opted for some chicken vermicelli.

My favorite thing to do is pour ALL the sauces on top. Because the more sauces, the better. Duh.

And then, a few hours later, you’re sitting in front of your computer trying to do work and feel disgusting because you inhaled a bunch of noodles that had ZERO nutritional value.

Here’s one of the things I’ve realized over the past few years. I don’t even like noodles all that much. I use pasta and breads as a means to soak up all the sauces. I love dips and spreads. And the bread and pasta that serve as the base are just the tools that allow all the other deliciousness to make their way into my mouth and belly.

And that is exactly how my Zoodle obsession came about.

A few weeks ago, I was asked to review The Veggetti. Since my sister-in-law first had me try Zoodles months ago, I’ve been hooked. The Veggetti turns zucchini (and other veggies) into delicious, healthy spaghetti, INSTANTLY. Ordinary pasta has 800 calories and 160 grams of carbs. My Zoodles have 60 calories and 8 grams of carbs.

The best part is that I don’t feel guilty for grabbing another serving. Because, naturally, that’ll happen. And, despite the extra serving, you won’t feel that disgustingly, uncomfortably full feeling you get with noodles. Lesson learned.

So, on my way home from Jen’s, I stopped at Trader Joes to buy some zucchini and, tonight, I will be prepping some zoodles for mañana!

Here’s the funnest part. You can win a Veggetti for YOUR kitchen and start preppin’ yourself some fancy veggie noodles! Just enter below! 🙂

  1. i would love to have this i heard that zucchini and cucumber (of course seperatly) make a great healthy spaghetti option instead of noodles but i havent seen it when i went to the store so thanks for this chance!

  2. LOVE zoodles and all the other fun things you can do with this tool! ! I have a spiralizer but I just wanted to say how much I love it- actually making zoodles for dinner tonight 🙂

  3. OMG – I am the only blogger in the world that does not have one of these, therefore I should win by default , lol. Anyway, favorite way to eat pasta — probably with shrimp, tomatoes and feta

  4. My new favorite way to eat pasta is to combine alfredo sauce with marinara sauce. I love the combination, and it goes so well over zucchini noodles.
