Text Message Tuesdays

We’re trekkin’ through our list of things to get done before we take off on our road trip.

So far, we’ve gotten all our banking stuff taken care of. We’ve also gotten my car serviced and Ankur’s was dropped off at the dealership yesterday so that’s also taken care of.

We’ve got a few other things on the agenda for today – including a big project I’m trying to tackle. I’ve spent the last three years saving everything I created on Google Drive. But since I’m no longer returning to Rocketship, my Google account will disappear in a few days so I have to go in and manually download each document I want saved.

Though it’s frustrating, it’s forcing me to organize my extremely-cluttered hard drive – including pictures and screenshots I’ve saved over the years.

I came across these text messages that I saved from my Mom over 4 years ago.

After she e-mailed me something she had scanned for me (for the 1st time ever):

When she discovered how to take pictures on her phone and send them through text:

My mom is an avid blog reader so these may get removed – depending on what she deems inappropriate. But, for now, I’ll leave them here. And replace my “Teacher Tuesdays” with “Text Message Tuesdays” for the summer months – featuring lots of goodies from my Mama Dearest.
