Last week on Instagram I posted a picture of a package filled with all sorts of goodies from Bob’s Red Mill. Including four types of their protein powders:

With the summer upon us, and the excitement of finding a gym in Harrogate, Tennessee, I am definitely dedicating more of my time to running and training routines to get #SummerStrong.

And, with that increase in activity, comes a need for increased protein options.

Bob – your timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

Spending the last week and a half in boxes meant that I didn’t have access to all my kitchen supplies. But, throwing things in a blender requires little to no effort. (Not to mention – a smoothie is the best way to beat the heat and humidity!)

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

My all-time favorite smoothie to make is the Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie.

Ingredients:

  • Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp PB
  • 1 Banana
  • ice cubes

There are other recipes on the website but the chocolate + PB combo never fails me. The thing that sold me on the powders is that they are vegan, gluten-free, and made from beneficial probiotics. And they don’t have that weird aftertaste that a lot of protein powders have.

Additional Benefits of Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powders:

  • 20g plant-based protein per serving
  • 12g fiber per serving (9 g soluble fiber)
  • Good source of omega-3 fatty acids
  • 40% RDA iron per serving
  • No soy ingredients
  • No dairy ingredients
  • Sweetened with monk fruit

And now, you can try Bob’s powders too! Enter below for a chance to taste the deliciousness. Giveaway winner will receive their choice of Chai, Vanilla, Chocolate or the Protein & Fiber Booster. The prize will be a 16 oz bag, valued at $30.
