After my minor scare last week, I realized some changes need to be made pronto.
Not going to lie, I did pretty well for a Monday morning:
1) I set my alarm for 15 minutes earlier than usual – which always helps in the morning.
2) I made healthy choices throughout the day. No soda. Lots of water. Packed lunch.
3) I made to-do lists so that I was productive during my prep periods instead of staring at my computer, overwhelmed and unsure where to start.
4) I mindfully ate my lunch. Normally, I just inhale whatever food I have while I stay working at my computer. Today, I ate lunch without a computer or phone present.
5) I made plans to workout with Veronica, one of my co-workers, right after work. Knowing I was going to workout with someone made it a whole lot easier to come home, change, and head right back out. #healthysELF
6) I took a short walk after dinner. Even if it was only for 20 minutes, it sure beats jumping into bed right after eating. I may still have some crumbs in there from last week.
It’s only one day. But it’s a start. And a step in the right direction. And that’s what I need right now. I just need to keep walking.

I love both your graphics and totally feel both of them right now! I’ve been struggling the past few days and I cannot let it get me down any longer.
