Fun Facts Friday: [3/13/15]

We made it.

And this Friday is pretty wonderful because it’s a Data Day. Meaning we don’t have any kiddos at school today. Don’t get me wrong. I love my kids the MOST. I couldn’t imagine doing a job without all the little interruptions and craziness they provide throughout the day.

HOWEVER, it’s really nice to get some time to sit back with the data and figure out next steps for our kiddos for the remainder of the year.

Anyway, moving on to your regularly scheduled scatterbrained post.

1) After Data Day, our staff is going on an overnight camping retreat which I’m really looking forward to! It’ll be nice to have some quality bonding time with some of my favorite people outside of our work environment.

2) Yesterday, Beth and I both came home from work absolutely pooped and decided to do a Thai food + foot spa night.

3) Jen took me to SCCOE (Santa Clary County Office of Education) for the first time yesterday and it was like a CANDY STORE. Except with books. It’s like Disneyland for parents/teachers.

4) My fortune from yesterday told me that I needed to be productive.

Which was so appropriate because I got pretty much nothing done off my To-Do list.

The saddest part about that is that I legitimately thought I could get 100% of those things done in the day. Where does the time GO? (Exactly why I am grateful for days like today when we don’t have the little ones there!)

5) My BFFs are still hanging out with each other. And are pretty much cuter than ever.

6) I’m obsessed with the Order Ahead app. Especially when, at a place like Philz, the line is always out the door. Makes me feel really cool when I get to walk in and pick up my pre-ordered drinks.
