Back to the Grind

Hello! 🙂

I got to SEE MY KIDS today. Let’s be honest, I wasn’t thrilled when my alarm went off this morning.

But the minute I saw their cute little faces, I was ECSTATIC to be back.

(It also helped that I got a free drink from Starbucks. Caffeine makes me go WEEEEEEE!)

I asked for an iced coffee this morning and they were out of ice. Which resulted in a free drink. I’m not complaining.

It was amazing to see how much progress has been made on our new school building!

How can they POSSIBLY have gotten so much done in a week?!

The work day whizzed by and I went straight to Trader Joes after work to get some groceries. As much as I’m loving my Full Circle box, there have been a few mishaps. On two occasions, the box didn’t show up when it was supposed to. And, lately, they haven’t been selling pizza dough. So our roomie “Pizza and Wine” nights haven’t happened for a while. So, I went to TJ’s after nearly 4 MONTHS!

And then I quickly remembered why I avoid grocery shopping.

I buy way too many things.

All the things.

After TJ’s, I went to go buy some new shoes from Running Revolution since my shoes have holes in them. But they closed at 5PM on Monday. Who does that? So that’ll be an errand for another day.

Instead of buying new shoes, I decided to take my old ratty shoes and go for a quick run and meet Emily on the Los Gatos trail.

There may have been some swinging involved.

After our trail adventure, I went home and Beth and I cooked some quality pizza.

Even though the dough didn’t come from the box, I still value these nights. I love spending time with my roomie!

Especially when there’s some wine involved.

Now, I’m about to shower and face plant into my bed. Good night! 🙂
