At the end of every year, I like to skim through my old blog posts and photos. It helps me relive some of my favorite events and reminds me, over and over again, how much can happen in just one year.
At the beginning of 2015, I made a resolution to make no resolutions. The only thing I wanted out of 2015 was to “do more things that make me happy. Like giggly, giddy, childish and happy.”
And, while I didn’t create any sort of data tracker or spreadsheet to measure this, I can assure you that 2015 was a year of happiness and love.
Let’s do a quick picture walkthrough of the year.
- I attended my First Woodsey Wine and Dine Dinner
- I attended my first D12 in the Bay Area.
- I fell in love with yoga.
- I went on a #BudhraJAPAN adventure with the fam.
- I was asked to be my best friend’s Maid of Honor.
- I got to attend a Woodsey Wedding for two of my favorite people.
- My mom discovered my blog and become my biggest fan.
- I went to Tulum and fell in love with the beautiful city and the beautiful people.
- From there, we went to Bacalar where I floated in the reservoir at sunrise and reflected on how lucky I was to be alive and be in that moment.
- I watched Jen Middleton marry the love of her life while having the most epic Spring Sing reunion.
- I went wine tasting in Oregon with Sister.
- I got to celebrate this new mama! 2016 will be the year I MEET Baby Georgia.
- My FF came to spend the weekend with me and we saw Gavin together for the 3rd time.
- We had a family reunion and celebrated this munchkin’s 1st birthday.
- I celebrated Randy and Lara. Such a special day. Such a special couple.
So many beautiful moments in 2015. Bullet points do not do justice.
The year of happy.
Here’s to another year of happiness and love.
