Good morning and happy rainy day to all those who reside in NorCal!
Don’t you just LOVE the rain?!? And all the green that’s poppin’ up everywhere? Man, I’ve missed this.
In the words of Hilary Duff, “Let the rain fall down.” (<—deep lyrics from the one and only, Lizzie McGuire).
Surprise surprise. I spent more time with Rosie this weekend.
She has taken over my Snapchats, my Instagram pics, and my blog posts.
I can’t help it.
She’s too cute.
Aside from hanging out with Rosie, I spent Sunday crafting, chatting, and mimosa-ing! I drove over to Jen’s in the morning, got surprised with this fun gift (how appropriate is this waterbottle for MY LIFE?), and prepped myself for a wedding craft session.
I had informed Jen about my artistic skills (or lack thereof). But, somehow, she still wanted me to join the party.
We spent a few hours making pinch pots. I think there might still be some clay underneath my fingernails.
But, after one mimosa in, I didn’t seem to mind my hands getting dirty.
And I’m fairly confident that my pinching skills got better with time.
The time passed by so quickly and the crafting + conversation was actually pretty therapeutic for a Sunday morning!
200 pots later…
We finished them off in no time!
I spent the rest of the evening food prepping, writing IEPs, and watching Fuller House. (<—I gotta say….I was pretty disappointed. I had high hopes. Probably shouldn’t have…).
Now I’m off to get ready for work! It’s a short week. Kind of.
We have no kiddos on Thursday and Friday for Data Days. So that made the planning load a little more bearable last night.
Have a good one!
Questions of the Day:
- Have you ever made pottery? What did you make?
- What did you do this weekend?
- What’s something you’re looking forward to this week?
