Daylight Savings is this weekend! I’m really looking forward to hikes and runs in the evening since the sun will still be out when I leave work! But, for this week, I’ll be running in the morning. Because, even though I have to wake up between 4:30 and 5AM, it’s absolutely worth it to get to watch the sun rise.
I think my run yesterday really set the tone for the rest of my day and I realized just how important that time is with my self. Running in the morning allows me to clear my head and mentally prepare myself for the long day ahead of me. The workout part of it is just an added bonus.
With that being said, I’m off for another.

You make morning running sound like so much fun! I like to run at night (sunsets are my favorite!) but this makes me want to run before work too. Here in Alaska the sun is crazy though, so running at sunset could be anywhere from 3 am in the summer to 11 am in the winter. I’ll have to try this in May when school is out and the sun is up!
