Veer Bhaiya in Town

We had an oh-so special visitor yesterday and it made for an extra special bonus weekend day.

Veer Bhaiya accompanied his papa out to Chicago for a work conference so we got to benefit from that and spend the day with him yesterday! 

I sound like a broken record every time I’m with him, but I can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that he’s a big 14-year old. We were JUST toddlin’ up and down the streets, stopping to smell the roses on our walk, like YESTERDAY. 

It’s also crazy to have this concentrated time with just my kiddos and Veer. Because it makes me envision a world where they, too, will one day be 14. Tall and curious and hopefully half as good of a human as Veeru is. 

He’s really something special and every time I spend time with him, I’m reminded how lucky we are that all our kids get this big brother leadin’ the way through life. 

Ishu and Riyu had a freakin’ ball with him. As they always do. 

And I love any and all time I can get with the first baby I loved with all my heart. 

Come back soon, Veeru! We’ve got iPhones to be fixed, snacks to be had, and a couple of small fans who already miss their Bhaiya!
