We’ve been sitting on some news for some time.
When we first found out, we kept it to ourselves because, well, we just wanted to give it a couple weeks.
And then, when I realized how peaceful the first few weeks were, I wanted to prolong the peace.
We got through the first trimester and told our parents at 14 weeks.
But, even still, it wasn’t information I wanted to share publicly here because I had been loving the peace and calm through it all.
No added noise, no added opinions, none of it.
And so, I haven’t talked about it on the blog.
But now that we are 2 weeks away from meeting our little guy, I figured I’d spill the beans.
The best part about this entire pregnancy is that I got to do it with my sister.
Sister and I had the same exact due date. SAME. EXACT. DATE. To the DAY.
We joked about getting pregnant with our second kids at the same time. But I had no idea how spot on we’d be with that pact. Ha.
And now Sissy and Drew are proud parents to baby Kai who wanted to make his debut early. And it’s a waiting game over here for us. 🙂
We’re 2 weeks out.
Can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that Ishu will be a big brother in two short weeks.
Now that the news is out, I definitely want to share some fun stories I’ve been wanting to write down as Ishu has spent the last 9 months understanding what it means when we say “baby brother is coming.”
Looking forward to meeting this little guy, but in the mean time, going to soak up these final two weeks weeks with the monkey that first made me a mama. 🙂
