Good morning and happy Thursday! We are inching our way toward Fall Break and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m looking forward to lots of reading, relaxation, and catching up on sleep!
Fall Break is probably the thing I’m most excited about this week, but here are a few other things that are making me happy! As always, feel free to play along in the comments and tell me what you’re loving lately!

I’ve ordered a few shipments of healthy, organic snacks and other staples from Thrive Market (<–affiliate link) and I am amazed at the huge discounts they offer. They have an iPhone app which makes it really easy and convenient to add things into your basket as you think of them. My most recent order included Rao’s Arrabiata Sauce ($6.95 through Thrive Market and it can be anywhere between $8-11 at the grocery store), cereal, dish soap, olive oil, and other snack items. The site works like Amazon and requires you to sign up for an annual membership. However, the first month is free and, after that, it’s only $59.95 for the year (which is a steal considering the amount of money saved over the course of the year!). They also offer free shipping on orders over $49. I also love that Thrive Market donates a free annual membership to a low-income family for every membership purchased through their site.

Lunch Bunch
Most of the other teachers incentivize students for good behavior or work completion by allowing them to watch a movie in their classroom at lunch time. I don’t have a SmartBoard. And I don’t have a projector. So I’ve never thought to set up a Lunch Bunch in my room before. Yesterday, however, one of the students wanted to eat lunch in my room. I told them they could, but that I wouldn’t be playing a movie. The others overheard and wanted to join in. They didn’t care about the movie. They wanted to come anyway. We all had such a fun time together. I felt like I got to know these kiddos a little more. Their silly sides. Their personal lives. And I think they liked getting to know more about me and my life. I have a feeling Lunch Bunch is going to be a regular thing.

ClaryCalm Roller
ClaryCalm is a proprietary blend of essential oils that provides a soothing effect during that wonderful time of the month. I used to swear by Midol as the only thing that helped with cramps and headaches. But this oil has been my go-to over the past few months and I don’t even turn to Midol anymore. I simply roll it onto my abdomen and wrists and it works within minutes. I love this stuff. I’m going to put in another monthly order soon so contact me if you have any questions about this oil or how to get doTERRA into your home! 🙂
Questions of the Day:
- Do you order groceries and products through Thrive Market?
- Are you using essential oils in your home?
- What is one thing you’re loving this week?

Good to know about thrive market from your post. So many organic sellers are out there that it’s hard to catch up and it helps to know about specific ones.

Ahhh that roller sounds A M A Z I N G. I need to search Amazon for it right now. One thing that I’m loving this week though is my favorite coffee shop / bar in Dallas. I get so much work done there while listening to great local talent. It’s definitely a win-win.

Thrive Market is new to me! I do like essential oils. Last year I made lime coconut scrub for gifts and it used lime essential oil which is lovely for massages. We also have lavender 🙂

Most essential oils give me headaches but if I’m in a ton of pain I will use a muscle oil. I try to stay away from them though. I don’t use thrive market because my local grocery store has online ordering so I stick with them.

No Thrive Market here but we do have Bountiful Baskets that deliver fresh produce to an area. I have a garden most of the year but I order a few baskets in the wintertime.

I also used a similar online grocery store here in Manila, and they shipped/delivered it to me either during day or the following day, and they are also awesome like Thriving Market 🙂 It’s convenient!

I’ve been curious about Thrive, but hadn’t heard from anyone who actually used it yet!

I love it so much! I’ve been tracking how much I’ve saved just to see whether the membership was worth it and it absolutely is. I do most of my purchasing on Thrive and Amazon (which I also have Prime for) and I think both memberships were worth the initial money because I get packages delivered to my doorstep and in many cases, it’s cheaper than at the store!

I love the idea of a Lunch Bunch! I bet kids these days are already so entrenched in technology and devices (TV, tablets, smart phones, etc.) on a daily basis, so giving them a break where they can just sit, talk, and enjoy each others’ company is huge!
