Good morning and happy-almost-Friday to you!
I love how the weekend approaches so quickly when you knock out an entire workday. Even when it leaves me a little bit confused about what day it is.
4-day workweeks are the thing I’m loving the most right now, but in sticking with my new Thursday theme, I’ll list a couple other things that are making me happy this week!

On Guard and Breathe
The combination of these two in my diffuser has saved me from whatever is going around 4th grade right now. All the kiddos I work with have runny noses and have been in and out of school for the past few weeks. A few days ago, I started to feel a tickle in my throat so I put three drops of each oil in the diffuser before I fell asleep. When I woke up, the tickle was gone and the love for my essential oils grew even more!

Club W – Wine Delivery Service
When I first moved to Tennessee, I subscribed to a few wine delivery services because I was worried about living in a dry county. One of the services I appreciate the most is ClubW. After receiving (and drinking) your wine, you log back into the website to rate the wines you’ve tasted and they update your preferences which leads to even better tasting wines for the next shipment! You can also customize it so that you don’t receive boxes monthly in case you
are crazydon’t get through your bottles each month and need more time in between shipments. (I, of course, don’t have that problem).

Dave’s 60-Calorie Bread
I love Dave’s. Whether I’m in the mood for a PB toast or an egg-white sandwich for breakfast, it’s always my bread of choice. When I found out that each piece of bread had 4 WW Points, I was devastated because that meant that my breakfast would be racking up most of my points for the day, leaving very little points for wine with dinner. (Tragedy!) But then I discovered thin-sliced Dave’s bread and all was right in the world again. For 2 WW points a piece, I can start my day off with breakfast sammies and also finish my day with a nice, big pour of the good stuff. I just love the nuts and seeds on the crusts of the bread. Makes it so chewy. And makes me feel like I’m being ultra-healthy.
Questions of the Day:
- What type of toast do you eat?
- What is one thing that’s making you smile this week?

I need to find that bread! I like Ezekiel bread toast. My new Bondi Band headband that I had made specifically with my hashtag is making me smile this week!

Do you use anything in the diffuser for allergies? A friend recommended I try that.
eatteachblog says
The combo of Lavender + lemon + peppermint is perfect for allergies!
I don’t use them in the diffuser. I will either put two drops of each in a veggie capsule and take it orally OR I’ll just rub the combo on the back of my neck. I have BAD allergies and this helps so so much!

I normally go for a rye bread! I must say I love my diffuser, I couldn’t go without it! It helps so much with my allergies!

As far as toast goes, I eat whatever is in the house, that could be pita bread, whole wheat bread or even white bread when it sneaks in. However, bread doesn’t last long in our household as we love our sandwiches. I love buying the $0.50 or $1.00 french bread loves and carb’n it up when we have pasta though!
One thing that’s making me smile this week is the fact that I’ve almost made it through week 6 as a stay at home dad of 2 little girls (4 and 2). We have been having a lot of fun catching up on movies, hitting the parks, and doing a lot of imaginary play as well as school worksheets at home and fun experiments!
Have a great night and enjoy the wine! I’m more of a sweet wine drinker myself!

I keep saying I need to get more into essential oils. This post is good motivation. I’ve got to learn more!

That daves bread I recently had and it was amazing!!! So doughy, I loved it. The one I had was not 60 calories though, so I will have to try that one! Wine delivery service…I need in my life. And I have been meaning to try essential oils and the more blog posts I see about it the more inspired I feel to go get some!

What made me smile this week? Finding awesome blogger communities! And I love essential oils! Been using them since 1998. The cold and hot vaporizers have tiny holes for oils now. Which makes it nice for the kids when they are sick too. Would it not be awesome to use that in the classroom?
