Things I am LOVING lately:
- First and foremost, this lady.
I already miss her so much. We’ve had our fair share of mother-daughter fights, but I am so blessed to have her in my life.
- Food Prep. My fridge and freezer are stocked with goodies that will last me about two weeks. Which is perfect because I imagine these next two weeks are going to be mighty hectic.
- An organized apartment. I’m not messy by any means. But I spent some time this weekend tossing stuff and finding a place for everything. It’s nice to get rid of the clutter every once in a while.
- My new job. While it may be exhausting to have a shorter summer and professional development for 3 weeks before the students come back to school, it is effective and beneficial for everyone involved. I appreciate that we have this time to build relationships with the staff, collaborate with one another, and attend sessions for programs and assessments that we will be using throughout the year.
I also appreciate how quick our team is at responding to e-mails. And we are all connected via Google Calendar. I love that everyone is on the same page about everything!
- AromaTheraPutty. If you know me in real life, you know that I have a terrible habit of playing with my hair. No, I’m not exactly twirling my ponytail between my fingers. I’m ripping out my split ends. Gross. This putty keeps my hands occupied while giving off a lavender scent which I love. It’s actually been pretty effective – although I’ve only used it for a couple days now.
- All things chia.
- COFFEEEEEEE. I’m trying to limit to a cup a day. Limiting my caffeine intake makes me enjoy it even more than I already did.
Some days I’m reflective and indecisive. On other days, I’m assertive and outspoken. Yes and yes.
- And last, but CERTAINLY not least, this kiddo. I’m loving him a whole lot. I can’t wait until they move to Monterey.
