It feels weird to start my day without sitting down to write a blog post.
But this is the season of our life right now.
Chaos and craziness in the mornings.
Ankur started a new rotation this month where he’ll be unable to drop Ishu off at all in the morning. Which is fine. It just means that I’ve gotta get three humans ready and out the door, making sure the littlest one doesn’t fall asleep in the stroller on the way home.
There’s no time to shoot the shit here.
But that’s OK.
I’m about to dive into work-related tasks, but I also felt pulled to come on and share some of the happenings this week. Maybe in this season of life, we’ll have a “Scenes from the Week” post and a “Scenes from the Weekend” post.
Riyu likely got RSV (we are not 100% sure, but that’s what the urgent care doc in Florida said) on our flight to Orlando. The two of us are still recovering from the ickiness. I’m thankful that he was given the RSV antibodies during his 4-month appointment because who knows if things could have been worse?
Grateful for science. And our pediatrician. And the family doctors. Our health. Feeling pretty lucky all things considered.
I’m also grateful for Danny Go. For keeping our big kid moving on the evenings we can’t spend at the park. And for living in a time where you can get ramen delivered to your front door.
And incredible concierge folks who become your family members after nearly 3 years of living in this building.
Marco Polo for helping me feel connected to my people, even when we are living in different places.
This latte that I’m sipping on while my baby is being cared for by a wonderful human.
The ability to work from home and have flexibility in my days to take care of my SELF and my BABIES and my FAMILY.
And and and and and and.
My thoughts are scattered. I need to get to work. I just wanted to pop in and share some things I’m oh-so thankful for.
Hope you have a happy Thursday. 🙂
What are you thankful for this week?
