Okay, I did it.
After refusing to continue reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (after all the emotional twists and turns), I decided to pick it up and finish reading it. Of course, there were tears upon tears upon tears streaming down my face as I finished up the last two chapters. But, everyone’s telling me I need to be strong and carry on as her last and final book will help put my heart at ease.
I’ve been so immersed in this Harry Potter world right now that I can’t seem to think about anything else. Even in our casual conversations, I find myself discussing the books at length. One of the things I’ve been asking people lately is, “Of all the objects/artifacts at Hogwarts, or in the wizarding world in general, which one would you be most excited to own?”
A broomstick?
The time-turner that Hermione used in Book #3?
Mrs. Weasley’s clock that would display the whereabouts of each member of your family?
The enchanted galleons that Hermione uses for communication?
The invisibility cloak?
There are so many to choose from.
I think the thing that fascinates me most is the Marauder’s Map, which would allow me to detect the location of all the people that are important to me.
Although…thanks to modern-day technology, I’ve created a Marauder’s Map within my iPhone.
Which leads me to my text message conversations with Sister. Sister – I’m spying on you. I see your little dot.
So, maybe, I change my mind.
I already see the dots of people I want to spy on.
Maybe I want a time-turner instead.
Questions of the Day:
- Which magical artifact would you choose?
