This weekend was quite eventful and filled with so many special people.
After eight years together, Tammy and Kyle finally tied the knot.
I knew their wedding was going to be a special one. Eight years in the making. Two of the most wonderful, genuine, compassionate people I’ve ever met in my life.
It was amazing to be able to spend time with some of my very best friends from college as Tammy and Kyle exchanged their vows.
Once we all arrived, we grabbed seats and chatted until the music started up. We saw Kyle begin walking down the aisle and, as he approached the altar, every single person started cheering. In that very moment, I knew that this guy was so, so, SO very loved by every single person there. Before we knew it, all the bridesmaids (and Kris!) were all lined up. A few seconds later, Tammy walked out with her Dad and I couldn’t help but get a little teary-eyed.
Tammy has one of the biggest and most beautiful smiles of anyone I know. But, as she walked down the aisle toward Kyle, she just beamed of happiness. She looked absolutely stunning. And so very ready to marry Kyle. Will, one of our friends from college, was the officiant and shared stories about Tammy and Kyle that made us all laugh and cry simultaneously.
Before we knew it, Tammy and Kyle were officially Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto and the celebrations began shortly after.
The dance floor was hoppin’ the whole night and I had so much fun dancing and chatting with some of my favorites.
Speeches were shared and hugs were exchanged. Tears were shed and laughs were had.
I am so lucky to have been a part of their special day.
Congratulations to Tammy and Kyle. I had such a wonderful weekend celebrating the two of you!
