Most of this weekend was spent hanging out with this little puppy.
She’s so cuddly and smushy.
Friday:
Friday night was really low key and it was PERFECT. We spent the evening in our PJs, playing Mexican Train Dominoes, and making homemade pizza.
Not trying to toot my own horn here, but I’m REAL good at making pizza. I’m the best pizza maker I know.
Saturday:
We decided to hike a new-to-us trail in Hayward. It was, surprisingly, beautiful. We don’t really like to stray away from the redwoods, but this was certainly worth it.
After nearly 20,000 steps in the day, we had worked up quite an appetite.
We decided to go to Taqueria Los Pericos in Dublin for lunch and I ordered a burrito that was the size of my leg.
The rest of the evening consisted of a lot of couch time and Big Bang Theory. Best way to end a long, active day.
Sunday:
We braved the crowds at Costco to get some supplies for the week. And some supplies for the Super Bowl.
And came back home to this fun surprise. (Chocolate covered bananas might be my new favorite thing).
We cooked a little bit and then sat down to watch the game.
And by “sat down to watch the game,” I mean scroll through my phone, do a little bit of work, pet Rosie, and do everything BUT watch the game while the game was running in the back.
And now, here we are, start of a new week.
A full work week.
Let’s see how I manage this.
But first, coffee.
Questions of the Day:
- Which Super Bowl commercial was your favorite?
- What did you do for the Super Bowl?
