Summer in California

After six weeks in California, we are back in Chicago and easing into (somewhat of) a routine. I love my child but I have never been more ready to send him back to school. Let’s just say “structure” wasn’t exactly our summer theme, so once again, HERE’S TO THE TEACHERS. (And if I could set their salaries myself, they’d all be living fabulously).

It’s been almost a month since I’ve done any sort of update here. And that’s not because there hasn’t been stuff going on. But just because it felt hard to show up here. Lots of family time, lots of emotions, lots of soaking it all in and spending time with one another. Sometimes it’s hard to write when you’re in the middle of living it.

So, as usual, here’s a photo dump of the last month. And maybe…MAYBE…I’ll get back to a regular blogging schedule. We’ll see.

So, to summarize, I love my family so much.
