Good morning!
I woke up feeling all sorts of happy today! 🙂
For starters, I woke up before the alarm went off. Don’t you love when that happens?
I did have a minor panic attack when I checked out the weather…
….and then quickly realized that I, thankfully, don’t live in NY. Don’t know how you east coasters do it!
I’m content with my California weather, thank you very much. 🙂
Every morning, I turn off my alarm – which I didn’t have to do today! I check the weather. I do a quick glance through my e-mail. And then I check my text messages.
This morning, I woke up with some of the best news ever. Remember Robert and Julia?
She’s HERE!
And she’s SO adorable.
I can’t wait to meet her and squeeze her.
I am beyond excited for them – they are going to be wonderful parents. 🙂

In other happy news, two of my favorite people are getting MARRIED!
Conor, one of my best friends from college, is getting married next year! Conor, just like Robert, lived on the same floor as me during my 1st year of college. I got really lucky and had an amazing bunch of people living on my floor. Although we’ve all gone our separate ways, they remain my closest friends. They definitely shaped my college experience and I couldn’t imagine what UCLA would have been like without them!
Conor was, and still is, such a goofball. I’m so glad he has found his partner-in-crime that can put up with his craziness! (Only slightly kidding, CK!)
Fay and David are also getting married next year – AT UCLA!!!! So. Excited.
I met Fay through the Student Alumni Association (SAA) during my sophomore year of college. She was doing a program in DC and came back in the middle of the year. I distinctly remember where we met for the first time – it was after our Internal Scavenger Hunt event at an apartment party and we were both standing outside to get some fresh air – and possibly avoid all the craziness that was going on inside. I remember being REALLY excited to meet her because all the older SAA members went on and on about how wonderful she was.
They were right. 8 years later, all those stories about her still hold true. She is one of the funnest people to be around and I enjoy her company so much. Fay is such a beautiful person and her positive energy rubs off on all the lucky people in her life. I am blessed to be one of those people! I am so happy for her and David and can’t wait until the wedding fun next year! 🙂

Now, I’m going to take my all sorts of happy self to work. Only 4 more workdays until Thanksgiving Break! See ya later, friends!
