Hump Days are the worst. Which is exactly why I started planning fun things on Wednesday nights. Having something to look forward to always pushes me through even the toughest of days.
If hump days are hard for ME, they must be hard for most people. So we should probably do a little Hump Day Hemp Hearts lovin’ to make today a little more bearable, shall we?
I was introduced to Manitoba Harvest’s Hemp Hearts at the end of last year and immediately fell in love with the little seeds. Since I was doing the detox at the time and wasn’t allowed to eat any grains, I would sprinkle them on my salads to add a slightly nutty taste.
Since I tried them the first time, I’ve been adding a little sprinkle to everything. They complement most dishes and are easy to toss on for some added nutrition. From breakfast (muffins, pancakes, smoothies, and oatmeal) to dinner options (Zoodles, soups, and salads), the seeds add so much flavor and some added fuel.
