Monday. I see you. I know you’re gonna try to win. But I’m going to beat you. I’ve got caffeine on my side. Not to mention a 4-day work week. So it’s ME that’s got the advantage.
I’m heading to Vegas this weekend for Tyler and Gina’s wedding! Can’t believe their big day is almost here! It feels like they just got engaged yesterday. I’m SO excited to celebrate them and be by Gina’s side as she says, “I Do!”
Just four more days to get through.
This weekend was not particularly productive. After a week of 4:30 alarms, I spent most of the weekend on the couch trying to recuperate.
Friday:
I stayed at work a little later than usual to get myself a little organized. There’s something nice about staying late on a Friday to prep for the following week. No pressure. No stress. And everyone else is usually off campus getting their weekend started so I don’t feel as distracted.
After waiting out traffic, we drove to San Ramon to hang out with this monkey. I mean…dog.
And a round of Mexican Train Dominoes. Because, why not?
Saturday:
Started the morning off with a Weight Watchers meeting. Saturday morning folks are so motivating. And the place is always PACKED because everyone goes on Saturday apparently. Most popular day to weigh in.
After the meeting, I was inspired to go to Fresh Millions and fill up on some Sriracha. With a side of veggies.
I was also inspired by the liquor store next door that was stocked full of BuzzBallz.
Why didn’t we have cool things like this when I was in college? Back in my day, we had to pour our vodka into a waterbottle in order to sneak it around in our purse.
Kids these days. They don’t know how easy they’ve got it.
I was supposed to go to the gym but, instead, I chose to walk the trail with Jen. That sounded way more appealing than the treadmill.
Sunday:
Went to Hash House to celebrate Jen’s birthday! Played with the Face Swap feature on Snapchat.
After brunch, I parked it on the couch. Until it was time for dinner.
And by dinner, I mean wine-in-a-can.
Portion control. AND a straw. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Now I’m off to the gym to burn off the calories I did not burn this weekend.
Have a great one!
Questions of the Day:
- What did you have for dinner last night?
- What’s your favorite type of pizza? Deep dish? Thin crust? Stuffed crust?
- Have you tried a BuzzBall before? What’s your favorite flavor?
