Good morning! I’m still in zombie-mode over here. Hopefully the caffeine kicks in soon!
I spent half the weekend in San Ramon shopping and running errands. Shopping isn’t my favorite thing to do, but lucky for me, I had some pretty great company.
I was also promised a BIG salad from Fresh Millions. 7 WW Smart Points for this ginormous salad. I love all things in volume. Salad. Hair. Wine. Etc.
On Saturday evening, we drove to SFO to pick Brittany up from the airport. She got back from Spain and it was fun to hear all the stories from her trip! It was also really nice to drive over the San Mateo bridge and see this beautiful sunset.
After dropping Brittany home, we were starving and ended up trying The Blue Door right across from her apartment. I was looking forward to coming here. The food is OK. The ambience is really nice. But maybe not worth the amount of money it cost for each item.
On Sunday morning, we woke up nice and early and went to Castle Rock for a short hike before going to the Farmers Market.
After some pretty solid grocery shopping, our tummies were rumbling so we went to Rio Adobe for lunch with Brittany. Ended up being a point-heavy lunch, but it kept us full all day long so we didn’t end up eating dinner!
After lunch, we went back home and stayed inside for the remainder of the day. The summer weather + the heavy lunch made me feel so lethargic but I was able to food prep for the rest of the week!
4 mini wontons = 1 WW Smart Point! Amazing. I made cauliflower fried rice with these thrown in for some added taste.
Now I’m going to go get ready for the day. Lunch is packed. Coffee’s been consumed.
It’s going to be a good day.
It’s going to be a good day.
It’s going to be a good day.
(I’ve been chanting this to myself all morning long. AGH Mondays).
Have a good one!
