Friday:
We took the train from Sunnyvale and brought along some company for the ride.
I got to witness a grand slam and a Giants win against the Rockies.
I still don’t like baseball all that much. But I do like hanging out with these crazies.
Saturday:
I went to go see this munchkin after nearly TWO MONTHS!
Isn’t it crazy how so much can change in two months when you’re two years old?
This kid is currently loving: Subway sandwiches (I had nothing to do with this), Pharell’s “Happy,” and his NEW HOUSE.
His dad is currently loving:
Moscow Mules!
Sunday:
I woke up Sunday morning and drove back home just in time for book club.
Kate hosted the book club at her apartment and made some AMAZING sangria and breakfast dishes. We all spent some time chit-chatting and catching up, but eventually got down to discussion around the book.
It was obvious that everyone enjoyed reading this book just as much as I did. I highly recommend it! It looks pretty lengthy, but it’s definitely a quick read once you fall in love with it.
I had every intention to go back home and do work after book club, but it’s nearly impossible to do that when it’s SO beautiful outside. So, instead, I frolicked around and hoped that the sangria and wine would mask the Sunday panic mode.
(It doesn’t. It just postpones it. Ugh.)
This week:
We have Good Friday off so it’s a 4-day week for me! It’s a jam-packed week of IEPs, meetings, and post-work activities. But it’ll make the three-day weekend that much nicer! And, in terms of food prep for the week, it’s done.
Because I’m spoiled by my Bhabhi. She even made me iced coffee in a mason jar. Starbucks will miss seeing “Sarah” this morning.
Happy Monday! 🙂
