Scenes from the Weekend: 9/29/25

Not quite sure how we’re approaching October, but here we are.

We bought some Halloween decor and a welcome mat. Which is kinda blowing my mind because Halloween has NEVER been my thing before. But, also, I guess things change when you have kids.

I mean, I brought home a pretend POTIONS book with all these little vials that had “werewolf fur” and “bone dust” in them. Ishu thought it was so cool. In the middle of reading off all the labels on the vials, he bounced up and down and ran over to hug me.

So, yeah. I guess I’m on board the Halloween train.

Not quite sure what the kiddos are going to be for Halloween yet, but Ishu’s deciding between a komodo dragon and a vampire bat. So if you’ve got costume recommendations for either of those things, please send them my way.

Okay, I gotta sign off and make some breakfast and get my life together a little bit, but here’s some pics from the weekend!
