Good morning from me and my coffee that I’m enjoying in PEACE! 

I love Mondays. 

It helps that I’m not working right now and Ishu is in school all day. So, you get the appeal, yeah? 🙂 

We had a great weekend. On Friday, we had our last visit with Auntie Bella who is now en route to NY! We are going to miss her so much but we are already looking forward to visiting her when she’s settled in. 

On Saturday, we got to hang out with Max and Emmie at their pool. Mike grilled some burgers and the boys had so much fun splashing in the pool. Ishu had his very first hot dog and had his very first experience in a hot tub. He loved both things very much. Grateful for such special friends and such quality time with them!

In the evening, we went for a long walk to tire Ishu out. And, yes, we were very successful. He ended up sleeping in his toddler bed from 9ish to 6am. WHAT? We’re doing this. (And by “we,” I mean “Ankur.” He is a persistent man, that one). 

Last night, again, he fell asleep in his toddler bed. He crawled into our bed at midnight. I put him back in his bed at 1am. And then he crawled back into our bed at 4am. (I should also note that Ishu’s pretty persistent too, haha). 

But we’re onto something here, so we’re gonna keep the momentum going. 

So proud of this little guy.

And, on Sunday, we spent the day indoors because of the poor air quality (again). Ishu had swimming lessons in the morning. And then Ankur made a batch of pancakes for the week. We watched some Arthur, played with trains, FaceTimed with the fam, and tried our hand at the ponytail again. 

It was a good weekend. But, like I said, Mondays are pretty great these days too.
