Scenes from the Weekend: 6/23/25

Good morning!

We are headed to California this week for nearly a month and a half! So we are trying to squeeze in as much time with our Chicago folks doing Chicago summer things.

This weekend was full. In a good way. We’re really trying to pack in the MOST!

Dinner date at D4 with our beloved curry chips. Play dates with friends. Movie date (Elio) with our big kids. Breakfast at Dollop. A sweaty dinner with the Ryans. Riyu stealing French fries from everyone’s plate. The splash pad at LSE park. A birthday party at ClimbZone. Lots of water play at home too. Water Plaza on the Riverwalk. And Ema $1 fro-yo on Fridays.

It’s been a great weekend.

The next weekend will be snapshots from CA.

(And I’ll probably get to write a little more because, y’know, #grandparents).
