I usually start these weekend recaps (or, at the very least, upload pictures) on Sunday night. But, last night, I passed the eff out with the baby. So, this is going to be a very quick photo dump.
We had the best, best, best time with Sister and Drew this weekend. It’s always hard to say goodbye. But this time felt a tiny bit more emotional because we’re leaving for Chicago in a few weeks. Oof.
I’ve gotten so used to my morning walk and talks with Sister. Being in a different time zone may change that a little. But, it’ll be fine. We’ll figure it out.
In any case, it was so so fun for us to be together. And especially fun for Ishu who loved hanging out with his Masi and Masu!
Mama got to have some 1:1 meditation sessions with the meditation expert himself. I had to see it for myself to believe it! MamaB is always on the go, go go. But, somehow, with Drew by her side, she was able to sit down, eyes closed, and meditate for 10 minutes. Which is saying quite a lot.
We also got to try the famous “lemon chicken!” Sister and Drew have that meal at least once a week and they made it for us to try one night. Quinoa + broccoli + lemon chicken. And the yummiest potatoes ever.
Saturday, we spent all day with family and Ishu got 0 naps in. He was stumbling around, having the most fun, and also slightly delirious and so, SO TIRED. The minute we got in the car to go home, he passed out. Like not even “the minute we got in.” It was less than 30 seconds after the car started; his eyes shut and he was out until we got home.
I have a zillion more pictures from this weekend, but I also have a baby who keeps demanding we go outside.
So, outside we go.
Happy Monday and hope you all enjoyed your weekend as hard as Ishu did!
Question of the Day:
What is one highlight from your weekend?

Awww I love photo dump posts. And sleepy babies in the car seat 🥰❤️ There must be so many emotions with an upcoming move but I’m wishing you all the best for the exciting road ahead. Challenges? Sure. But I don’t know you to turn away from those. Ishu will adapt to his new surroundings in no time, I’m certain.

When you guys move to Chicago, I will definitely plan a visit to go out there, maybe when it’s snowing cause I love it there when it snows. Did you know I lived in Vernon Hills, Illinois, when I was 16 years old for about 6 months. Chicago to Vernon Hill, is like the distance of SJ to SF. Oh My Gosh saying that and realizing my SkyMaree will be 16 come August makes me feel old.

No matter how old you feel, I’m always older, little sis! 🙂
Can’t believe that about Sky. And yes PLEASE come visit and bring the babies! (Sky will always be a baby to me!)
