Good morning and happy Monday!

It’s a gloomy Monday over here in California with rain in the forecast, but I’m not torn about it because we got some pretty great weather for most of the weekend.

Ankur landed on Friday and Nikku landed on Saturday and we got to visit with friends at home and in Tilden Park. While driving to the park yesterday, I was in all my feels. SNIFFING the air, reminding myself that this is home, this is home, this is home. Under the redwoods is where I want to be.

We’ve been to Tilden Park before, but had never been to the little farm or the merry-go-round. And, of course, we had to stop and do the steam train before heading home.

Last night was our annual Thanksgiving dinner with the family and friends. I love that, even though we don’t get to see everyone as frequently as we would like, we can count on seeing everyone and catching up during Thanksgiving.

We had so much fun reconnecting with everyone over all the yummy food, watching Riyu drunkenly waddle around the whole house and Ishu play with his new remote control car.

So grateful for such a special weekend with family and friends.

On to more fun memories with the fam this week! Thankful, thankful, thankful.
