Scenes from the Weekend: 11/18/24

Good morning from the cozy, cozy bed!

Apparently Ishu is still sleeping and Dadi came in and scooped Riyu up and outta here to give me more time to sleep. Feeling like the luckiest human right now.

Since I’m up (and alone!), I figured I’d upload some snapshots from the past couple days.

We are in northern California now and I officially got through my first flight alone with the two kiddos. Luckily, it was a short one. But short ones are good for practice. (Even though I’m not trying to do a flight from here to Chicago on my own any time soon, no thank you).

Okay, I hear Ishu is awake now, so I’ll make this more of a photo dump so I can go hang out with the fam.

Sleepover with the Hodels
Walking through Balboa with the kiddos
Making forts.
Playdate with Maika and getting to see Monica and Dag’s house for the first time!
Thai food for Nani’s birthday. We’ve moved on from Bamboo Bistro to Suree Thai.
Tennis and Pickleball was a must.
Thought I’d get to go on a little scenic walk with my 4-year old. Instead, we just hung out at the rocks, searching for pretend salamanders, his newest obsession.
Celebrating Nani’s 92nd birthday!
Shake Shack date with the big kid. The first place we ever took this COVID baby out to eat. The first place he ever sat in a high chair.

We got to see a lot. Do a lot. Still felt like we could have spent weeks and weeks seeing people and doing all the fun things.

Grateful we get another two weeks up here in the Bay with family too.

Thankful, thankful, thankful.

Happy Monday!
