Scenes from the Weekend: 11/17/25

Good morning, good morning. 

Monday has come yet again.

We’ve officially pulled out some Christmas decorations and we’re planning to get our tree this week. I’m very ready to go full-blown holiday mode over here. 

I just love this time of year so much. 

A few days ago, we had our YouTube Christmas ambience video going in the background, holiday music playing, and I started pulling out the decorations from the closet. Ishu immediately jumped in and started setting things up in his own, very serious, very adorable way. And when he was done, he crawled into my lap and said, “This is the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!”

Pretty sure he takes after his mama. 

I love that there’s someone else in the house that’s pumped to pull out all the decorations and hang the stockings in November. Ankur used to do it cause it made me happy, but it’s not really his THING.

But Ishu? 

HE’S ALL IN. 

I love it.
