Scenes from the Weekend: 10/13/25

Good morning, good morning.

In the time it took me to open this site and type those four words, my children have found me. And requested my attention. And some food.

So this post may look like one smooth stream of though. But, do not be fooled. It has been written in 5 separate chunks.

The blog, as always, comes second. (Or fifth. Depends on the snack situation).

Which is exactly why these “Scenes from our Weekend” posts are mostly photo dumps. Because who is gonna let Mama sit here and rehash a couple days? Not my kids.

Anyway, I’m here with these monkeys pushing on my back. It’s technically still the weekend over here. Ishu’s school is open today, but we’re easing back into the week. We did our annual Bengtson’s trip yesterday and we’re all feeling that fun kind of tired. (Not tired enough to sleep in, of course. But tired).
