Scenes from the Week: 6/16/25

Anyone notice a change in the name of this post? Ha.

Instead of sharing a weekend post, I’m just dumping a bunch of pictures from the past week.

It’s the best I can do these days.

I miss sharing and writing every single detail. Because the whole point of starting this was to help me freeze time and read through all the little things many years down the road.

But, right now, pictures will do. And the hope is that I was present enough to look at a snapshot and recall the important stuff.

So, here is the last week of our lives in photo form.

42 Balloons at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Logan turns 5! A super special [tequila-filled] playdate. Music at the park. A spontaneous lunch date at Beatrix. Another beautiful beach day. And monthly book club at D4. And, of course, celebrating the best papa in the world.

And in between the snapshots, it’s mama meltdowns, therapy appointments, lots of snuggles and repairs, sparkly manicures and pedicures, coffee and electrolytes, reading in pockets, discovering Amy Poehler’s podcast (thank you, Em!), and hearing about all the creatures all the time.
