Morning!

Yesterday, the three of us went to the museum to see the Scales & Tales Traveling Zoo.

CPS is on spring break this week and the museum has different events every day.

We braved the chaos (the chaos-y chaos I’ve ever seen at the museum yet). But it was totally worth it.

Ishu was so excited he got to hold a boa and an armadillo. (While I spent most of the time making sure Riyu didn’t bonk the ducks that were waddling around the place).

They also had a sloth and baby chicks and turtles. If it were up to Ishu, he would stay there all day with the animals, but by the time we made our way through once, the line was SO CRAZY.

We hung out at the museum for a little while longer and then decided to head outside since it wasn’t as cold as we anticipated.

It was probably equally as fun for this duo to be outside, finding the longest and strongest sticks.

We got Riyu home in time for a nap and then went back outside to enjoy the last bits of sun.

Once we were home and bathed, Mama peaced out for her March BR&B book club.

We read Pictures of You, a quick but really good read. A second chance romance with a mystery element to it. And lots of trigger warnings mostly related to psychological abuse.

And then, once I got home, Ankur and I watched the last episode of Season 1 of Squid Game. (Yes, I really can’t believe I’m watching it either).

Okay, I’m going to go hang out with this little monkey. Riyu is BEING SO CUTE these days. He’s copying everything everything everything everyone says. Yesterday while I was at book club, Ankur and Ishu got him trying to say “WAKANDA FOREVER” and it’s so stinking cute.
