Riyu in a Basket

How do you even summarize a two-year old in one blog post?

You cannot.

Because after you hit “Publish,” you’re like, “OH YEAH, AND HE’S DOING THIS REALLY CUTE THING RIGHT NOW TOO.” And you can’t capture it all because every day they’re doing something different. Every day, they’re saying something hilarious.

I cannot write it all down.

But, right now, here’s what’s making me so insanely happy.

Riyu is the KING of telling you he loves you so much. Except he tries to say it so fast so he inevitably leaves out two words. It’s never the word “much.” You always hear the word “much.” But sometimes he’ll drop the “love” and sometimes the “you” and “so.” And it’s just the darlingest thing to hear. I-LUH-YOU-SO-MUCH.

And he also runs around screaming, “working! working! working!” when something is, in fact, NOT working.

He says “show me,” when he wants to show you something.

And he says, “My Hold it,” when he wants to hold something.

And that’s all I’ve got for now.

But I mean, you can’t even understand how cute it is ’til you see him doing it. But I guess that’s OK. You can just imagine.

Okay BYE.
