I’m home 🙂

It’s a pretty comforting feeling to have your Mama and Nanima within arm’s reach. Facetime is a cool thing. Real-time is even cooler.

Right after I landed, we all went to eat lunch together at True Food Kitchen in Fashion Island.

I haven’t been to this place since 2012 – I had forgotten how GOOD it was. Good and real and whole. And the company made it even better.

After lunch, I got my nails/eyebrows done at Happy Nails in Fashion Island. I’m like a human again. (Implying that I was like a monster before).

  

When we got home, I did the rounds. You know, the rounds of the fridge, the outside fridge, the pantry. To see what goodies have made their way into the home since I was last here. This is normal behavior.
Anyway, I found out my mom secretly works for Bolthouse Farms and owns every single one of their dressings.

Then I proceeded to fall asleep for 2 hours.

And then wake up and play Bananagrams.

I’m really good at taking days off.

I’m like a professional.

Now, I’m off to Starbucks before the day begins! We’ve got some Farmer’s Market strolling, hiking, and a wedding celebration in the books!
