Yesterday, we drove to Tracy to visit with Ankur’s Naniji and Mamu one more time before we head out of town.
Since we’ve been there before on this trip, the kids immediately settled in, walking around Arun Mama’s house like they owned the place.
They’ve been getting real cozy and comfortable out here in California.
Mom and Dad have set up a twin-sized bed for Ishu right next to their bed. In the master room. It’s nice because he’s literally right next to them but also has his own space so he can do all the flips and somersaults his heart desires in the middle of the night.
(It’s also nice because once bedtime hits, Ishu just sneaks away into their room and it’s like we only have ONE kid to put to bed because Ishu is theirs for the entirety of the trip).
When we got back home from Tracy yesterday, Ishu went upstairs looking for Babaji.
He came back down the stairs. “Did you find him?” I asked.
He nodded and said, “Yeah, Babaji is sleeping in my room.”
Ha.
TOO COMFORTABLE.
TOO MUCH THE BOSS. In all the houses.
It’s gonna be hard to head back and leave this all behind.
Trying to enjoy the rest of the time we’ve got. (While also trying to plan another trip out here REAL SOON).
Have a good one!
