Good morning,
The little guy is still sleeping as I’m sure he’s still adjusting to being back in Chicago. He slept in yesterday as well, which ended up in a skipped nap and then falling asleep on the couch at 5pm. That’s never happened before.
He’s mostly better, but something is still a little off – maybe just jet lag – because he’s wanting to be no more than an inch away from my body at all times.
Usually, he’s clingy when we sleep.
But he’s Mr. Cling Wrap all day these days.
Yesterday, we stayed home and watched a lot of TV and read a lot of books. And any time I moved around in the living room, he’d undoubtedly get up and crawl into my lap.
I don’t mind.
I will take all the snuggles all day long.
It never ceases to amaze me that my presence and my touch could provide such comfort to one human.
Moms, man.
Sometimes it feels like you’re giving EVERYTHING. And then sometimes it feels like you just have to show up and that, alone, is enough.
