It’s still dark outside, but what-the-heck, good morning.
I’m ready for longer days filled with sunshine, please and thank you.
I can’t complain because the temperatures have been bearable considering it’s January. But still, some sunshine would be nice.
Ishu’s currently hiding out in his fort. (Two pieces of the nugget covered with his dinosaur blanket), ready to pop out and scare Ankur when he comes out of the shower. So, figured now is a good time to blog as any.
I don’t have a huge weekend recap because, despite having three days off, we didn’t do too much.
On Sunday, the three of us went to the Field Museum. It was the first time Ankur’s been there since we moved here. So that was fun. Ishu, per usual, loved the hall of dinosaurs. And we got to watch the 3D video of the T-Rex, Sue. Which was quite graphic (especially when the T-Rex annihilated the triceratops), but he enjoyed it. (And I don’t think it traumatized him too much).
And then, yesterday, Ishu’s school was in session. But Ankur and I both had the day off.
So we dropped him off and then got to spend the day together at home, which was real nice.
We popped some popcorn, snuggled up on the couch, and watched A Man Called Ove.
Okay, Ishu has crawled out of his hiding space to obtain a banana. And his “fort” has fallen apart, so he’s in need of some assistance.
Off to go help the boss.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
