Good morning! It’s not quite 9am yet and, ALREADY, it’s been a day.

At some point between 6:00-6:15, the baby was crying at me and I rolled over to face the wall. And fell back asleep. Which, I GUESS is when he slid out of bed, crawled over to the bathroom, and had a field day in the toilet.

At 6:20am, Ishu bounced into the room and told me the baby smelled like poop. Which, yes, poopy diaper. But his sleeves were SOAKED and I realized what had happened.

Good morning to mom.

Ha.

Anyway, it’s Friday so you win some, you lose some.

It’s been a week of pretty decent weather, but it’s definitely feeling like fall. The long-sleeves are out. The jackets are required for the morning and late evening. And there are Halloween decorations everywhere.

We’ve been craving comfort food. I predict a batch of chili in our very near future.

And I’m itching to feel the warm, cozy fall feelings all day long. (I have been playing these type of YouTube videos on our TV to have some fall ambience in our living room and it definitely ups the cozy vibes).

I’ve even gone down the phone wallpaper rabbit hole.

I LOVE OCTOBERS.

I didn’t appreciate them as much living in California, but I’m appreciating the heck out of them here.

We’ve got another fall-filled weekend planned with a trip to the pumpkin farm tomorrow and some pumpkin decorating on Sunday.

I also have the kids’ Halloween costumes figured out. I don’t know who I’ve become, but I’m not hating it.
