The days go by slowly, but the years go so fast.
Can’t believe it’s been a year since our Minute-to-Win-It shenanigans last year.
Since then, I’ve:
- Graduated from LMU with my Masters in Education.
- Moved out of my apartment in Culver City
- Started this blog for accountability and personal reasons. One of my favorite decisions. I’ve met so many people through this network, encountered incredible professional development opportunities, and have gone on quite a social media adventure over the past 6 months!
- Decided to leave LA and take a job opportunity up north – something I’ve been wanting to do for so long 🙂
- Watched our President Obama get re-elected for four more years 🙂
- Became a wine club member at Picchetti Winery.
- Got my ass handed to me during the first few months of teaching. Worked harder than I’ve ever worked before. And fell in love with my students, despite the struggles each day.
2012 was great.
2013 will be better.

Wow. you have done so much this year. I promise you your first year teaching is the worst as far as work load goes. From there on out it gets just a bit lighter every year.
I hope so! I feel like I’m drowning most of the time!
Looks like you had a great 2012! Here’s to a wonderful 2013 as well!
Same to you! 🙂
Sounds like a busy and fulfilling year – teachers are the best (no I’m not one)! 🙂 Happy 2013!
Thanks! 🙂 Happy 2013 to you as well!
What an incredible year you’ve had! If that was good, I’m excited to see what better will be!
🙂 that’s true! I feel like I so often reflect on what went wrong in life and what I can do better in the future. This post allowed me to think back on the year about the positives and the great things that happened.
Seems like you’ve had quite the year! Here’s to a fabulous 2013!!
Happy New Year!! 🙂 Aw! I see you moved out of LA! I live in WeHo, if you were still around, I’d totally say lets get coffee!! Well, maybe if you visit!
I love WeHO! What part do you live in?
