#GrillAlFresco Chicken Sausages

A few weeks ago, I posted this picture of my gi-normous salad that I threw together in less than 5 minutes. Before moving to Harrogate, I was worried we wouldn’t get many healthy options out here, but after spending a few minutes roaming up and down the grocery store, I started to relax.

There were plenty of organic veggies in the produce department. And I was still able to get [mostly] everything that was available to me at my neighborhood Safeway in Campbell. One thing I was most excited to see at Kroger was al fresco’s chicken sausages.

Made with lean, skinless chicken meat. And they’re already fully cooked.

Which means that all I have to do is throw them in the microwave for 30 seconds, chop them up, and toss in my salad.

It doesn’t get easier than that.

There are also a few grilling recipes on the website. If you click the link and vote on your favorite recipe, you will be entered to win $500 and a high quality grill (a $500 value). (Contest is open until July 31st!)

Happy voting! And happy grilling!

    1. I just threw whatever was in the fridge into a bowl! Chopped up cucumbers, bellpeppers, mixed greens, broccoli slaw, chicken sausage, grilled chicken, corn, shredded cheese, onions, tomatoes.
Topped with Bolthouse Roasted Garlic dressing + Sriracha for good measure! 😉
